Pom clinic signup open
The Cary-Grove High School Pom Squad is taking registrations for its annual Pom Pon Clinic for girls age 3 to eighth grade. The clinic will be held on July 21 and 22. Sessions for pre-kindergarten through kindergarten will run from 4 to 5 p.m. and for first through eighth grade will run from 3 to 5 p.m. at Cary-Grove High School, 2208 Three Oaks Road.
Registration forms are available at the high school Web site at www.d155.org/cg under "athletics/camps" and "poms." The fee is $20 for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten and $25 for first through eighth grades. The fees increase $5 after July 1.
Deadline for early registration is July 15. The registration fee includes a free set of rooter poms. T-shirts can also be purchased for $10 each. Other items available include Cary-Grove Pom silicone bracelets, $2 each, and water bottles, $1 each.
Pom registration forms and payment should be sent to Cary-Grove Poms, Attn: Gina Dunn, 2208 Three Oaks Road, Cary, IL 60013. Checks must be all-inclusive of your order and you must indicate your purchases on the order form.
During the Pom Pon Clinic, the high school Pom Squad will work with small groups and teach them the basics of Pom routines. On Tuesday, July 22, parents are invited to come to the school for a performance at 5 p.m. in the lower gym.
