Overnight canoe trip: Register by July 26 with Bartlett Park District. Teens from across the state will canoe down 12 miles down Wisconsin River, and camping afterward, then canoeing final 9 miles on second day, Aug. 13-14. Chicago Inline Marathon: 8 a.m. July 26, Hoffman Estates. Recreational, fitness and expert skaters of all ages and levels and invited to participate in this 26.2 mile, skating marathon. Event includes industry skate expo, free "Young Guns" race for ages 8 and under, a one-mile race for age 12 and under, and a recreation 1/2 mile marathon. Supports Special Olympics, North America.
