Ruth Macintyre Conservation Area program: 7 p.m. July 18, east of Salem Drive, south of Duxbury Lane, Schaumburg. A park district naturalist will discuss the site's ecology as well as how the area is being cared for by district staff and community volunteers. Dog wash fundraiser: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 19, Banbury Fair, 211 Railroad Ave., Bartlett. Pet owners have your dogs washed and towel-dried for a $10 donation to the Four Paws Animal Foundation. Family Night Adventure: 7-9 p. m. July 22, Aug. 5 and 19, Bartlett Nature Center, 2054 W. Stearns Road, Bartlett. Explore the wonders of nature through a variety of activities including hikes, crafts, storytelling, movies and dessert. Advance registration encouraged. $3 per person, per night.
