Help Dine-Away Hunger Wednesday

Dine-Away Hunger, an event to support the People's Resource Center food pantry, will be Wednesday. Participating restaurants will donate 10 percent of that day's food sales to the PRC, a Wheaton-based, not-for-profit organization that helps needy DuPage County residents with food, clothing, rent assistance, literacy and computer training, art enrichment and more. Volunteer to help senior caregivers

Metropolitan Family Services is offering volunteer training for its Senior in Home Respite program from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 5 p.m. June 22 at the office 222 E. Willow, Wheaton. Volunteer will volunteer three hours a week offering support and temporay relief for someone caring for an elderly loved one in theirhome. Men's leagues begin this month

The Glendale Heights Parks and Recreation Department will offer men's basketball league from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays, June 22 to Aug. 24, at the Sports Hub, 250 Civic Center Plaza, Glendale Heights.
