Weary residents keep eye on rising lakes, river

Officials today are continuing to monitor the Fox River and Chain O' Lakes.
The Chain and the Fox River from the Algonquin Dam north in Lake and McHenry counties remain closed due to dangerous boating conditions and floating debris, the Fox Waterway Agency announced Monday.
