Charismatic worship topic at breakfast

A Magnificat Prayer Breakfast is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 17 at the Holiday Inn Crystal Lake, 800 S. Route 31, (815) 477-7000

The featured speaker is Lauretta Froelich, of St. Luke Parish in River Forest. She is a prosecuting state's attorney in Chicago, and is a graduate of St. Mary's of Notre Dame and John Marshall Law School.

Froelich serves as the primary liaison for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the city of Chicago; is on the board of directors for Aid for Women pregnancy center; and is a founding member of Women of Worship.

Once skeptical of charismatic worship, Froelich was transformed from a shy, withdrawn individual into a dynamic powerhouse for Christ after receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Come hear her life-changing testimony as she evangelizes in spirit and truth for the glory of God.
