Jake Thornton and Ryan Richardson both batted 2-for-4 with a double in the St. Charles North baseball team's 9-8 victory over Lake Park.
Brian De la Torriente pitched the final three innings and earned the save.
The North Stars improved to 15-7 overall and 11-5 in the Upstate Eight.
West Aurora 8, Naperville Central 7:ŒKyle McCradic drilled a 3-run homer in the bottom of the fifth as the Blackhawks (13-11, 6-9) topped the Redhawks (14-8, 10-5) in Aurora. Brady Renner batted 3-for-3 with 2 runs and 3 RBI.
St. Charles East 15, Elgin 1:ŒThe Saints (12-11-1, 11-6-1) scored 10 runs over the final two innings as they beat the Maroons in Elgin. Mike Hoscheit hit his second homer in as many days and Tyler Deetjen allowed 1 earned run and struck out 10 over 6 innings.
DeKalb 10, Geneva 9: The Barbs stormed to a 10-0 lead after three innings. But the Vikings (16-6, 9-6) responded with seven runs over the fourth and fifth. They added two more in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn't score the tying run. Rod Nelson went 1-for-2 with a double.

Batavia 5, Kaneland 0: The Bulldogs received goals from Mary Wandolowski, Kia Gear, Ashley Davie, Haleigh Erwin and Breanna Choffin.
St. Charles North 2, Lake Park 0: Caitlin Winkelman and Paige Dusek tallied for the North Stars.
Geneva 3, Sycamore 0: Bri Santacaerina, Emily Hinchman, and Emily Saunders all scored for the Vikings (10-7, 5-1).
Boys tennis
St. Charles North 7, Streamwood 0: John Mittvick won first singles 6-1, 6-3 and Nikhil Mehta took second singles 6-1, 6-0.
Lake Park 6, St. Charles East 1: Sam Gunther and Kirk Nelson won first doubles for the Saints.
Batavia 5, Oswego East 2:ŒJordan Broadway and Mick Collins took singles wins for the Bulldogs (13-7). Jim White and Colin Bohr won first doubles 6-2, 6-1.
Marmion 5, St. Edward 0: The Cadets won nine of the 10 games by scores of wither 6-0 or 6-1. First single Tom Weiler as well as second doubles Mike Deufel and John Mason and third doubles Mike Rios and Taylor Weis shut out their opponents.
Softball
Lake Park 3, St. Charles North 0: The North Stars fell to 8-5 in the UEC and 16-8 overall as they lost to the Lancers in Roselle. Amanda Engel struck out five for the North Stars.
Rosary 3, Marian 1: The Royals (13-10, 11-1) scored the first runs that Marian has allowed in all their SCC games this season. Ani DeKing singled home Lauren McNally and Kylie Schalz in the third inning.
Marian 1, Rosary 0 (15 innings): In a game that was continued from April 16, the Royals (10-1 SCC) dropped their first SCC game of the year.
Aurora Christian 15, Westminster 8: The Eagles improved to 4-7 in the PSL. Megan Cryder batted 3-for-5 with a homer and drove in 5 runs. Stephanie Perik scored four times and Shannah Morris went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI.
