Consignment shop in new digs
Your Best Friend's Closet has moved to a new and larger location, just a few doors down from their original location.
This upscale Women's and Junior's Consignment Boutique will be celebrating its ribbon-cutting Grand Re-Opening Ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Sale on microchip, rabies shots for pets
McHenry County's Animal Control and Adoption Center will hold a low-cost rabies ($10) and microchip ($15) event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at its newest facility in Crystal Lake at 100 N. Virginia St.
Pet owners also can save on one-year registration fees for animals who are spayed/neutered and microchipped ($8); senior citizens pay only $4.

Join North Kane's Relay For Life
The Relay For Life of North Kane is looking for individuals and teams to participate in the annual event. The Relay is an indoor, 12-hour event and will take place on May 2-3. The event begins at 6 p.m. May 2 at Dundee-Crown High School in Carpentersville.
Participants raise funds for the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research and other ACS programs in our area. This is a community event for all ages. Everyone is welcome enjoy the fun and festivities.
