Attend reception for art exhibit

Arlington Heights' Monart Drawing Studio and Prairie Center for the Arts will host an opening reception for Monart's new art exhibit from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the center, 201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg. The exhibit will feature more than 80 works through May. For details, call (847) 788-9323.

Women can learn how to be healthy

Elite Athletic Development, Inc., 12 W College, Unit B, Arlington Heights, will offer free health and fitness programs in conjunction with National Women's Health Week, May 12-17.

The free programs encourage women to improve their physical and mental health and include Group Centergy, a combination of yoga and Pilates movements set to popular music; workshops with a registered dietitian; a track interval workout; and group strength training.

Prospect High to hold its concert

Prospect High School's Department of Fine and Performing Arts will present its Spring Jazz Concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the school theater, 801 W. Kensington Road, Mount Prospect.

The concert will feature Prospect's Jazz Ensemble I and II, the vocal jazz ensemble, Knight Voices and renowned jazz trombonist Steve Turre from the Saturday Night Live Band.
