Trickster Gallery to host Easter event
Trickster Gallery, 190 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, hosts Easter egg coloring and an egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Easter fun for pets and their owners
An Easter-themed fundraising event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Goin' Postal, 124 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Proceeds will go to Adopt-A-Pet.
Pets and kids are invited to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. Fresh-baked goods will be available, as well as free gifts for pets and kids, and free refreshments.
Adopt-A-Pet is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization. Nominal donations are requested. For more information, visit adoptapet-il.org.
Sign up for Citizen Police Academy
The Hoffman Estates Police Department's next 12-week Citizen Police Academy class begins Tuesday. Class meets from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the police department, 1200 Gannon Drive.
Police officers, detectives and guest speakers will discuss a variety of topics, including identity theft, personal/home security, laws and ordinances, traffic safety, gangs and club drugs. There will also be a police dog demonstration.
Applicants must be 18 or older and reside, attend school or work in Hoffman Estates. Class sizes are limited. For more information or an application packet, call Sgt. Jim Campbell at (847) 781-2866.
