Put on your hat for hospital benefit luncheon

It's time to pick out that new hat and outfit to show your support for women's health at this year's Auxiliary to Centegra Memorial Medical Center's annual Mad Hatters Luncheon, scheduled for April 30 at the Crystal Ballroom in the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn, Route 31 and Three Oaks Road.

The popular ladies' afternoon event is in its sixth year and has raised more than $407,000 to benefit the development of women's health and wellness services at Centegra Memorial Medical Center in Woodstock.

Everyone is invited to attend; the only requirement is to wear a hat that best fits your individual personality in support of women's health.

Festivities start at 10 a.m. with a silent auction preview followed by lunch at noon and the live auction at 1 p.m.

"Our luncheon has become a wonderful spring tradition for many women," said Angela McAuley, senior vice president, Centegra Women's Services.

"The luncheon is a unique event that is entertaining and fun, but with a definite purpose to ensure the women in our community have access to the highest-quality health care right here in their own community."

Tickets are $50 per person or $500 for a table of and can be purchased in person or by mail. Tickets sell out very quickly, so reserve your table today.

Reservations also can be made in person at the Woodstock office of American Community Bank and Trust, 1290 Lake Ave.
