Cary school names its honors band members

Cary Junior High School has announced the members of the Fox Valley Honors Band for Cary Junior High. These students were chosen for their outstanding musicianship, citizenship, devotion to music and band, leadership and scholarship.

This year's members are Zack Ferree, Amanda Forni, Alex Whitaker, Luke Dopke, John Sterling, Brooke Senger, Jaime Zamudio, Matt Kearney and Bobby Lane.

These students will be meeting with all Fox Valley Honor Band members at McHenry Middle School and will be under the direction of the band director from Northern Illinois University for a concert featuring the 120-piece ensemble.
