Briefs: Older phones to lose 911
More than a million cell phone users will lose access to 911 service on Feb. 19 after AT&T Mobility, Cellular One, Verizon Wireless and other providers turn off their analog networks. The move will affect people who have older cellular phones from donated phone programs or who have cell phones more than five years old. Not affected are digital phones that have text or instant messaging capabilities, Internet browsing capabilities, MP3 player or integrated camera or a SIM card. Anyone not sure if their phone will be affected should take it to a local cellular phone retail store for assistance. For more information, call the Lisle-Woodridge Fire Prevention Bureau at (630) 353-3030.

The Heritage YMCA delivers before- and after-school care at more than 30 school sites in Naperville and Aurora.
