Briefs: Tax incentives approved
Elk Grove Village trustees have approved Cook County tax incentives to one hometown company looking to redevelop two buildings. Gullo International, based in Elk Grove Village, wants Cook County 6B incentives for property at 123 King St., and at 2195 Arthur Ave. Gullo says it will spend $360,000 to improve both properties, which were vacant. With the 6B incentives, property tax assessments will be reduced from 36 percent to 16 percent over 12 years. The county board will still need to approve the incentives.
