MCC classes help prepare for GRE and GMAT

Those planning to begin graduate school studies can prepare for their graduate school entrance exams with two separate prep sessions each for the GRE and GMAT beginning in February at McHenry County College University Center, 100 S. Main St., Crystal Lake.

Prep sessions for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) are available on Feb. 5 (course ID: NTP C02 001) and Tuesday, May 20 (course ID: NTP C02 002).

Both sessions consist of three independent study days. The fee for the 3-day prep course is $250.

This course provides students with test-taking techniques and methods for improving their score on all three sections of the GRE: verbal, analytical and quantitative. Students will practice on actual GRE tests from previous years and will cover specific time saving techniques for the computer administration of the test.

The MCC University Center also offers two prep sessions to prepare students for the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The first session begins Tuesday, Feb 19 (course ID: NTP C01 001) and the second session begins May 13 (course ID: NTP C01 002).

Both sessions consist of three independent study days. The fee for the 3-day prep course is $250. This course provides students with test-taking techniques and methods for improving their score on all sections of the GMAT.
