Big Brothers/Sisters benefit from dining in

Colonial Cafe will host a fundraiser benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County on Thursday at the restaurants at 6000 Northwest Hwy. in Crystal Lake and at 2555 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin.

By dining in between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Thursday and mentioning when you pay that you are there for Big Brothers Big Sisters, up to 20 percent of the proceeds from all food and beverage sales, less applicable tax, will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County will use the money generated by the Colonial Cafe fundraiser to provide ongoing support and supervision of mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and youth in McHenry County.

Anyone interested in helping Big Brothers Big Sisters by dining at Colonial Cafe on Thursday will need to mention at the register when paying that you are there for the Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser.
