Community Guide coming soon
The 2008 Cary Grove Area Community Guide will hit the streets this week, delivered to 10,000 doorsteps in Cary and Fox River Grove.
"The Community Guide is one of the chamber's most visible community projects," said Suzanne Corr, Chamber Executive Director.
"It is a comprehensive resource on local government leaders, village resources, community groups and organizations and our chamber businesses.
It is provided free to residents, completely funded by Chamber members."
The Cary Grove Community Guide is available throughout the year in the village halls, libraries, the chamber office, various businesses and realtors.
This year the guide is also a key component of the New Resident Program bags, reusable local shopping bags that offer information, coupons and incentives for local residents. The bags are being distributed to new residents throughout the year by the Cary and Fox River Grove village halls. They are also available through the chamber office.
In addition to the important local information the guide includes scenes from everyday life here in Cary and Fox River Grove. The publication showcases photos throughout its pages that came from local residents. The cover of the 2008 Community Guide salutes patriotism, and features photos of local school children displaying their red, white and blue, a young man being sent off to serve his country, and a local girl scout proudly waving our country's flag.
If you need a copy of the Cary Grove Community Guide, call the chamber office at (847) 639-2800.
New 2008 Cary Grove area maps detailing streets throughout local neighborhoods also are available through the chamber.
