More money for schools
State education officials announced funding for several fast-growing school districts across the state. The grants, which total $7.5 million to 43 schools, are specifically for districts where enrollment of more than 10,000 students and has increased by 1.5 percent, or for districts where enrollment of fewer than 10,000 students and has increased by 7.5 percent.
