Colonial Cafe to hold benefit for youth group

Colonial Café will host a fundraiser benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County Thursday at the restaurant on Northwest Highway in Crystal Lake and on Bunker Hill Road in Algonquin.

By dining in between 5 and 8 p.m. Thursday and mentioning that you are there for Big Brothers Big Sisters, up to 20 percent of the proceeds from all food and beverage sales, less applicable tax, will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of McHenry County will use the money to provide ongoing support and supervision of mentoring relationships between adult volunteers and youth in McHenry County.
