Dan Stevenson

Amcore Bank announced Dan Stevenson, senior vice president, accepted the new and expanded role of private banking and AIG regional manager within Amcore Investment Group. In this dual role, Stevenson manages the private banking team in the Chicago suburban region as well as oversees Amcore Investment Group in Chicago, Central Illinois and Wisconsin.

J. A. Air Center, West Chicago, promoted Kellie Priessman-Paskewic to manager of sales development for mail order avionics and consumer GPS sales. Priessman-Paskewic, an active pilot with 800 hours of flight experience, joined J. A. Air Center in 1992. She holds a bachelor's and aviation management degrees from Lewis University.

Dr. Funmilayo A. Macaulay, a physician in Dreyer Clinic's department of obstetrics/gynecology, was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Macaulay is a member of the America Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology.

The Chicago Dental Society elected Ian Elliott of Naperville, a periodontist who practices in Naperville and Joliet, to serve as vice president of the organization, which is the largest local society of the American Dental Association. Elliott received his dental degree from Loyola University Dental School and his certificate of periodontics from Northwestern University Dental School, where he also served as an assistant clinical professor. Additionally, John Gerding of Lisle, a general dentist who has practiced in Naperville since 1981, will named treasurer. Gerding received both his undergraduate and dental degrees from Loyola University of Chicago.

The Illinois CPA Society named Martin Green vice president of government affairs to help oversee and implement the legislative and regulatory activities of the society. Green previously served as executive assistant attorney general for Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.

Aurora-based Dreyer Medical Clinic honored the following employees for 35 years of service: Dr. Kenneth C. Lindahl of Aurora, an internist; and Ruth Pessina, customer service, Mercy Campus. Employees recognized for 30 years of service include: cardiologist Dr. David H. Davis of Aurora; John Clark of Oswego, laboratory; Terry Pieart of Aurora, laboratory; Ingrid Reese of Batavia; and Cynthia Worley of Montgomery, rehabilitation. Recognized for 25 years of service were cardiologist Dr. Lowell D. Carpenter of Aurora, Margaret Bauman of Aurora, Dorothy Bundyof Montgomery, Carol Garlick of Batavia, Martha Hooverof Aurora, Linda Kramer of Plainfield, Marilyn Littlejohn of Montgomery, Mary Michels of Oswego, Terri Moe of Newark and Jeanette Stephen of Malta.

The McHenry County Economic Development Corp. selected Ed Schroeder as manufacturing director for its Business Accelerator for Innovation and Collaboration. Schroeder, whose manufacturing background includes capital equipment, machining, assemble, electrical and supply chain management, will lead the initiative as it strives to help grow McHenry County's manufacturing base.

Kildeer resident and Allstate exclusive agent Dan Vechiola opened an insurance office in Woodstock. Vechiola, a graduate of East Leyden High School and Elmhurst College, offers his customers a full line of Allstate insurance products and services.

With more than 20 years of experience serving the retail marketplace, Frank Honold joined Spring Grove-based Intermatic Inc. as vice president and general manager for its consumer products division. Honold is responsible for leading strategic planning and overseeing the day-to-day operations for the retail business worldwide. Additionally, Jürgen Juffa was appointed vice president of finance. Juffa, a certified management accountant, becomes responsible for leading all the financial accounting, control, reporting and planning activities for the global manufacturer of energy controls and landscape lighting.

Karen S. Relstab was invited to attended an international summit in France hosted by Cultural Care Au Pair. Relstab is a Cultural Care Au Pair local childcare coordinator for Libertyville, Vernon Hills, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Gurnee and Wadsworth.
