Library catalog facelift

Carol Stream Public Library will be upgrading its online catalog and checkout system this spring. In anticipation of the change, users will not be able to place new holds on any materials beginning March 1. Holds placed before March 1 will be processed in the order they were placed. Library users will not lose their place in the queue for any existing items on hold. The online catalog will include improved searching options. The new system also will make it easier for staff to process new cards, renew cards, and make changes to a patron's library account. The target go live date for the new catalog and checkout system is April 17.
