Previously he served as president of Talentum CDH, a health care consulting firm.
Lake Forest Hosital welcomed Dr. Vipul Singla from Children's Memorial Hospital as the new team leader of the pediatric hospitalists. Singla will play a key role in the growing partnership between Lake Forest Hospital and Children's Memorial Hospital. He will also supervise the Children's Memorial pediatric hospitalists who are currently on-site at Lake Forest Hospital.
Sally Rutledge-Ott, vice president of membership development at the Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce, was the recipient of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Membership Development Division's National Sales Contest Award. Rutledge-Ott was recognized for ranking sixth in the nation amongst ACCE member chamber sales professionals in the $200,000 - $499,999 dues income level for the number of new member sales.
Opus North Corporation promoted Grady Hamilton, 34, of Hinsdale from real estate director to senior real estate director in the firm's real estate development division. Hamilton will be responsible for managing Opus North's office development and leasing strategies in the Chicago market.
Robert Varzino was named vice president of marketing, Internet, product management and engineering at Elgin-based WMH Tool Group, Inc., a subsidiary of Walter Meier Holding. Varzino most recently served as vice president of marketing.
The American Red Cross appointed Peggy Dyer as chief marketing officer, a new position overseeing the development and execution of marketing strategy for the128-year-old nonprofit. Dyer, who is a leader in the marketing field, possesses knowledge and expertise in strategic and segment marketing, market intelligence, marketing management and marketing communications. She has represented well-known companies, including Citigroup, Sara Lee Corporation and the Quaker Oats Company. Most recently, Dyer spent 10 years with the Allstate Insurance Company, where she oversaw marketing strategy and program management across multiple lines of business for the insurance firm's 13,000 agencies, call centers and the Internet.
Joseph B. Henning, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce, graduated from Institute for Organization Management, a four-year nonprofit leadership training program at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis.
Matthew Born joined Bensenville-based Earthwise Environmental Inc. as vice president of contractor sales-Central region. In his new role, Born works with both engineering firms and contractors to develop and meet hydronics specifications. He is an of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager with more than three decades of manufacturing, technical operations and sales background, recently as a plan/specification engineer at H-O-H Chemicals Inc.
