Jimi Falls returning to John Barleycorn

The local rock band Jimi Falls returns to its Northwest-suburban stomping grounds with a show at Schaumburg's John Barleycorn today.

Gospel Fest

The Chicago area's gospel singers are warming their pipes for the city's annual Gospel Music Festival this weekend. There are stages throughout Millennium Park, but the headliners at the Pritzker Pavilion are Donnie McClurkin Saturday and Kirk Franklin Sunday.

The 25th annual Chicago Gospel Music Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 6 and 7, at Millennium Park, Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street, Chicago.
