Cary-Grove chamber has new Web site

The Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce has launched a new Web site that offers a comprehensive resource on local community events, area business and shopping, job openings and much more.

The site, www.carygrovechamber.com, is a clearinghouse for important local information.

"The Cary Grove Chamber is already the go-to place for local residents to find out what's happening around town," said chamber president Chuck Barrett of Frisch and Barrett Insurance.

"We receive thousands of calls each year from area residents looking for information on shopping, events, local business and area jobs. Now our Web site makes it easy to navigate your way around the community."

The chamber site offers news on chamber events, members, and local business, as well as up-to-date information on large community events, hundreds of events hosted by local business, local job postings, commercial and office space available, and Cary and Fox River Grove village information. The site features a Cary Grove Area community map, consumer information articles published by chamber members, and a comprehensive business directory of more than 500 area businesses.

A special feature on the site is a page devoted to Community Snapshots, the faces and people of Cary and Fox River Grove enjoying community and business events hosted by the chamber and other organizations.

The latest chamber news and upcoming events are a focal point on the home page. The headlines will lead you to information on mixers and networking opportunities, seasonal community events, new events and articles on various topics. The chamber's top supporters, high level members who commit significant dollars to chamber events and the local business community, also are prominently listed.

The chamber site also provides background information on the chamber, member benefits, the chamber's board of directors, chamber affiliated networking groups and other resources.
