Tollway ramp closed:
The temporary local access ramp connecting Conway Business Park in Lake Forest to the northbound Tri-State Tollway will close today as improvements to the nearby Route 60/Townline Road are complete. Temporary access was permitted by agreement in 2007 from Conway to the adjacent Lake Forest Oasis northbound tollway entrance ramp as a bypass of the Route 60 work for more than 1,000 daily commuters. As of today, access to the ramp will be prohibited and the temporary ramp will be removed. Lake Forest agreed to fund cost of construction and demolition of the temporary access ramp as a way to reduce traffic through the construction zone. The city also provided an easement near the oasis to double truck parking.
