Hanover Township, Senator Castro to host Flu Shot Clinic

Hanover Township and State Senator Cristina Castro will host a free Flu Shot Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Astor Avenue Community Center, 7431 Astor Ave., Hanover Park. The event is co-sponsored by Amita Health.

"The best way to protect yourself and others around you from getting and spreading the flu is to receive the influenza vaccine," said Brian P. McGuire, Hanover Township supervisor. "Since the flu strains change constantly, it is important to get vaccinated every year."

The event is open to adults 18 and older. Registration is required.
