Bradford joins incumbents in District 129
Two incumbents and a challenger were elected to the West Aurora District 129 school board Tuesday, according to unofficial results. Four candidates were in the running for three four-year terms on the school board. With all 19 precincts reporting, the top three vote getters and their totals were challenger Mark Bradford of North Aurora, 1,777, and incumbents Neal Ormond of Aurora, 1,773, and Jonathan Wood of North Aurora, 1,562. Challenger Robert Littler, also of North Aurora, finished with 1,375 votes. There was a total of 3,057 votes cast in District 129, according to the Kane County clerk's Web site.
