Cops searching for missing Naperville man

Aurora police are searching for a missing 26-year-old man they believe to be in danger.

Larry R. Steward of the 0-99 block of South Whispering Hills Drive in Naperville was reported missing Sunday by a family member.

Police spokesman Dan Ferrelli said Steward was last seen in the 500 block of Rosewood Avenue in Aurora. When acquaintances went to search for him, he could not be found.

Ferrelli said the investigation has "uncovered suspicious circumstances" but he would not elaborate other than to say police believe the disappearance is gang related.

Steward is a black man who is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, shiny black pants, and black and gray gym shoes.
