Bloomingdale Area Women in Business scholarships empower two local professionals

The Bloomingdale Area Women in Business recently announced the recipients of the 2026 scholarships. Designed to support adult women pursuing further education to advance their careers, this year’s awards recognize two outstanding individuals dedicated to professional growth. The recipients are Kelly Trip for human resources development and Rakhi Mistry in special education.

This initiative reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to fostering professional development for non-traditional students who balance career ambitions with personal and community responsibilities.

The program’s success this year was made possible through the generous contributions of the sponsors:

• Embolden Wealth Management, which provided a $1,500 scholarship donation.

• Neil Moscicki, senior vice president and financial advisor for Wintrust Wealth Management, who provided $500 toward the scholarships.

“We are proud to support the Bloomingdale Area Women in Business Scholarship Fund,” said Stephanie Fuller from Embolden Wealth Management. “Investing in women who are investing in themselves, their careers, and their futures aligns perfectly with our mission of empowering people to build lives of confidence and purpose. Giving back to the communities we serve is one of our core values, and we are honored to help these deserving recipients take the next step in their educational and professional journeys while investing in the future of our local community.”

The Bloomingdale Area Women in Business, an active division of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, continues to provide a platform for networking, advocacy, and educational support, ensuring that local professional women have the resources necessary to thrive in an evolving workforce.
