The new Hollywood Casino Aurora plans to open June 24, the owners announced Thursday. The $360 million casino, which replaces the one in downtown Aurora, is on Farnsworth Avenue north of I-88, near the Chicago Premium Outlets Mall.

Lindt Swiss Master Chocolatiers has led a wave of eight new stores and entertainment venues coming to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg this spring. Lindt is already open on the upper level Grand Court near Michael Kors. Great Big Game Show is a full-blown TV-style showdown where players compete in a series of fun, family-friendly and fast-paced minigames. It will open soon near JCPenney.
Des Plaines approves $17M incentive deal for Costco development
The real estate developers bringing a Costco store and gas station to Des Plaines should get financial incentives from the city worth more than $17 million for putting the deal together, the city council decided Monday. A 137,327-square-foot Costco Business Center and a 24-pump gas station are planned for 14 acres at 2200 and 2400 E. Devon Ave.
