Police: Roselle man accused of sex assault of minor arrested by Fox Lake police

A Roselle man is facing charges of sexual assault and possession of child sexual abuse materials.

Fox Lake police arrested Adam A. Lares, 32, of the 200 block of Rodenburg Road Thursday after executing a search warrant at his home.

Police began investigating Lares earlier this month after being told about a sexual assault involving a minor. During the course of the investigation, police were notified the offender was also in possession of child sexual abuses materials.

Multiple items were seized in the early morning raid at Lares’ home and charges were approved Friday, Fox Lake police said.

A detention hearing was slated for Friday afternoon.
