Police: Fox Lake man accused of sex assault of minor arrested in Roselle Thursday

A Fox Lake man was detained Thursday after investigators executed a search warrant in a sexual assault and child pornography case, officials said.

Fox Lake Police Officers searched a home on the 200 block of Rodenburg Road in Roselle around 5 a.m., detaining the Fox Lake man and seizing multiple items of evidence, according to a news release from the Fox Lake Police Department.

The search warrant was executed in connection with an earlier sexual assault case involving the man and a minor victim on Jan. 6.

The investigation is ongoing, and Fox Lake PD will provide further details as they become available.
