Sen. Murphy holding three town halls in January

Illinois Sen. Laura Murphy will host three legislative town halls in the 28th Senate District this month.

They’re scheduled for: 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St., Des Plaines, Room C; 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, at Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg., Rasmussen South Room, 2nd Floor; and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Park Ridge Public Library, 20 S. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, First Floor Meeting Room.

“Town halls allow me to hear directly from the community about the issues most urgent to them” Murphy said in an announcement of the meetings. “This feedback will help me understand how to best support the needs of the district going forward”

The 28th District includes all or parts of Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Elk Grove Village, Schaumburg, Hanover Park, Mount Prospect and other communities.
