Fight hunger with food, races and golf: Northern Illinois Food Bank’s 2025 event calendar
In 2025, the Northern Illinois Food Bank is hosting its four signature events with proceeds benefiting hunger relief efforts in 13 counties.
These annual events play a vital role in raising funds and awareness for the organization’s mission to provide nutritious food and resources to neighbors in need. Each event offers an opportunity to engage with the community, enjoy special experiences, and make a difference in the fight against hunger.
A Cup of Hope
This year’s A Cup of Hope, an afternoon tea event hosted by the food bank’s Executive Women’s Council and emceed by news anchor Judy Hsu, will feature music from the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra’s string quartet. The 10th annual event will be 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Abbington Banquets in Glen Ellyn. Tickets are $125 per person, available via www.solvehungertoday.org/cup.
