Brew It Forward to benefit Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans

Celebrate Veterans Day by spending time with our local heroes and thanking them for their service at “Brew It Forward” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at First Division Museum, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton.

Your attendance at this outdoor beer tasting will benefit the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton. Guests may also choose to purchase beer tokens for attending veterans or donate directly to the Midwest Shelter. Veterans who attend will receive complimentary tastings.

Family activities will be available in the Tank Park. Concessions are available. Beer tasting packages include five 3-ounce pours for $10 or 12 pours for $20.

The breweries include: Alter, Bells, Freshie (Organic Tequila Seltzer), Goose Island, Half Acre, Krombacher, Lagunitas, New Belgium, 93 Octane, Solemn Oath, and Tight Head.

“Brew it Forward” was first held in 2017 and proved immensely popular. Join the fun and camaraderie, all for a great cause!

Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans is a not-for-profit transitional living facility that provides assistance to U.S. veterans of any era, the opportunity to return to useful and productive lives by providing them with the skills for independent living.
