Salon Cora celebrates grand reopening at new Crystal Lake Plaza location
The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, co-hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Salon Cora, celebrating their recent relocation to 12 Crystal Lake Plaza in Crystal Lake.
The event marked a new chapter for the salon, which had to relocate due to the Water’s Edge Apartments development project.
Salon Cora, under the ownership of Denise Knochel, is known for providing high-quality spa and beauty services in a welcoming environment. Their mission is rooted in the belief that self-care is an essential part of overall wellness. The new location at Crystal Lake Plaza allows Salon Cora to continue delivering on this mission, offering services such as haircuts, hair color, texture services, custom dimensional color, permanent makeup, nail services, skin care, and more.
Knochel expressed her enthusiasm for the move and the new opportunities it brings. "While it was bittersweet, we are incredibly excited about our new home at Crystal Lake Plaza. This move has given us the chance to reimagine our space and continue to grow our offerings in a location that truly reflects our commitment to excellence. Our team is thrilled to welcome clients, both new and returning, to experience the same high-quality services in an updated and convenient setting."
Knochel’s extensive background in management, training, and education in the beauty industry has been instrumental in the success of Salon Cora. She has retired from performing services herself, dedicating her time to salon management, training, and continuing education for her team. Knochel takes pride in helping others build confidence and fostering a positive, uplifting environment.
