People on the move: Byline Bank adds new leadership to wealth management group
Chicago-based Byline Bank has announced new leadership in the bank’s wealth management group to further support the complex financial needs of the bank’s high-net-worth clients.
Doug Throneburg joins Byline Bank as executive vice president and head of wealth management, Kurt Funderburg joins as senior vice president and chief investment officer and Andrew Crouch joins as senior vice president and chief fiduciary officer.
In his new role, Throneburg is responsible for leading all aspects of the wealth management group. Throneburg has more than 30 years of experience in financial planning, tax strategies and estate planning, most recently serving as managing director of wealth advisory for First American Bank.
In Funderburg’s new role, he is responsible for leading the investment team, managing client portfolios and performance, and effectively directing Byline’s investment strategy based on market conditions and economic outlook. An experienced equity analyst, strategist and portfolio manager, Funderburg also comes to Byline from First American Bank, where he was vice president and director of equity and economic research.
Coming to Byline from his previous position as head of trust and fiduciary services at Old Second National Bank, Crouch is responsible for coordinating and managing the trust and fiduciary business of the bank to deliver exceptional client service to wealth management clients. Crouch previously was in private practice at a boutique law firm specializing in estate and succession planning, real property, and closely held business law.
Shawn Collins selected president of the Top 10 Environmental Trial Lawyers

Lee & Associates adds Jackie Konrath to retail brokerage team
Rosemont-based Lee & Associates, one of the largest national commercial real estate providers in North America, has hired Jackie Konrath as a senior associate.
Konrath brings a wealth of experience in commercial real estate, encompassing roles in brokerage, property management, and marketing support throughout her career. At Lee & Associates, she will focus primarily on representing owners and tenants of retail properties.
Skender promotes several employees to senior positions

Jack Bauschelt, who joined Skender in 2017, has been named senior project manager.

Tony Scott, who joined Skender in 2015, now is senior project manager, team leader.

Ryan Freed named executive vice president of Lee & Associates Asset Management
Chicago-based Lee & Associates Asset Management has hired Ryan Freed as executive vice president.
It is the independently owned asset management arm of Lee & Associates. It currently manages 10 million square feet of office, industrial and retail properties across more than 100 buildings in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan and Texas.
Freed has more than 15 years of experience as a commercial real estate broker, most recently as vice president within Lee & Associates of Illinois’ office brokerage team.
Yvonne Mortimer rejoins Baird & Warner
Yvonne Mortimer has rejoined Baird & Warner, the largest independently owned real estate brokerage in Illinois, as director of broker development.
Mortimer is responsible for overseeing talent recruitment at Baird & Warner, working closely with managing brokers of the firm’s 25 offices.
Mortimer has worked as both an agent and manager, most recently at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago where she was managing broker of the firm’s Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Schaumburg and Wheaton offices.
