Chefs’ Culinary Celebration raises $215,000 for West Suburban Community Pantry

Nearly 400 guests dined on courses prepared by eight distinguished area chefs at the 2024 Chefs Culinary Celebration, raising $215,000 to support West Suburban Community Pantry in Woodridge.

The annual fundraiser was held on Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Chicago Marriott Naperville. The event features well-known area chefs each preparing one course of a six-course meal to be enjoyed family-style. The chefs work from a center-stage “observation kitchen” so guests can see each course finished and plated live.

Funds provide food and support services to neighbors in DuPage and Will counties. The event was presented by Old National Bank.

West Suburban Community Pantry increases access to nutritious foods through an in-person Woodridge-based market, online ordering, senior home delivery, and child nutrition programs in local school districts. It also offers support services — case management, connecting individuals and families to community and government assistance. Every day, it is moving closer to a vision of a community without hunger thanks to the generous support of the community and dedicated volunteers. Visit www.wscpantry.org to learn more.
