Cary Chamber hosts ribbon cutting for Breaking Bread Catering & Deli’s second location in Crystal Lake

The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the grand opening of Breaking Bread Catering and Deli’s newest location in the heart of downtown Crystal Lake, at the Crystal Lake train station, 70 E. Woodstock St.

Breaking Bread Catering and Deli, founded by Teri and Chris Plazak, has a rich history deeply intertwined with the local community. From 1990 to 2006, the Plazaks owned and operated The Coffee Station in downtown Cary, located in the building which is now Conscious Cup Coffee.

After a brief hiatus from the restaurant scene, they returned in 2013 with the opening of Breaking Bread Catering and Deli, 638 Northwest Hwy., in Cary.

The Plazaks proudly unveil their second location in Crystal Lake, bringing their signature blend of mouthwatering sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and exceptional service further into the community. They also return to their roots with the addition of the coffee house experience. Patrons can indulge in a variety of freshly brewed coffees and specialty drinks, reminiscent of where they started with The Coffee Station.

“This new location at the Crystal Lake Train Station provides a convenient and accessible option for locals and commuters,” remarked Teri Plazak, co-owner of Breaking Bread Catering and Deli. “We are thrilled to extend our reach into the Crystal Lake community.”

At Breaking Bread Catering and Deli, customers can enjoy a variety of offerings, including specialty coffee drinks, assorted breakfast sandwiches and pastries, and a diverse lunch menu featuring sandwiches, salads, and more. Breaking Bread Catering and Deli caters to the needs of busy residents, commuters, and families alike. In addition to their menu offerings, Breaking Bread Catering and Deli also offers catering services for events of all sizes, from corporate meetings to family gatherings.
