Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling to host ‘Beer, Charity, and Music’

Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling will host “Beer, Charity, and Music” starting at 7:30 p.m. March 1.

The goal of the series of upcoming events is to raise awareness and contributions for local nonprofits, in collaboration with TriCity Family Services.

TriCity Family Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit community mental health agency serving the Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, North Aurora and surrounding central Kane County area since 1967.

The group offers individual therapy, group counseling, family-based treatment for eating disorders, a Wilderness Challenge Program, psychiatric services, emotional wellness workshops and support groups, and employee assistance programs at affordable rates. Many types of insurance, Medicaid and Medicare are accepted at TriCity Family Services, and counseling is available in English and Spanish. More information can be found at tricityfamilyservices.org.

During Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling’s “Beer, Charity, and Music” event, 15% of proceeds from sales that evening will go toward TriCity Family Services.

There is $10 cover charge at the door, with $5 going to TriCity Family Services. Attendees can take part in raffles and further opportunities to donate to TriCity Family Services.

Starting at 8:30 p.m., live music will be performed by the Noah Gabriel, Ryan Carney & Chris Palmerin Trio until 11 p.m.

“Coming off of a successful Charity Bike Ride series over the summer where we, together with Sammy’s Bikes, raised over $10,000 for local organizations, we are very excited to launch our Beer, Charity & Music program this winter,” said Ryan Weidner, co-founder, president and CEO of Pollyanna Brewing & Distilling. “Along with our partners, Tunes for a Minute, we continue the programming featuring TriCity Family Services in January and have locked in other great local organizations to feature throughout the coming months. There are so many great organizations in the Fox Valley doing great things for people in need and this is our way, albeit small, to assist in their efforts.”
