Jeff Brandt appointed as CEO of Xamin

Jeff Brandt

Lincolnshire-based Xamin, a leading IT consulting company and subsidiary of Mowery & Schoenfeld, tapped Jeff Brandt to replace the company’s founder and former CEO Jonathan Smith starting Dec. 11.

This transition reflects the company's commitment to driving innovation, expanding service offerings, and further solidifying its position as a key player in the IT services and consulting industry.

“Jonathan Smith and Pete Smothers (co-founders) have built a successful business atop a foundation of well-trained, reliable, and courteous colleagues who have consistently delivered and supported a host of IT solutions for years,” said Brandt. “I am fortunate to join a company with so many strengths.”

Brandt brings more than 30 years of experience, most recently as the president of William Frick & Company, having successfully spearheaded growth strategies, operational enhancements, and client satisfaction initiatives in his previous roles.

Xamin also hired Suraj Prakash as its chief technology officer. Prakash will maintain oversight of the company’s core products while developing and delivering technologies to help Xamin’s clients extract the most value from their technology investment.
