Arlington Heights businesses return as sponsors for 'A Christmas Carol'

After a successful experience in 2022, The Schwabe Group - Compass Real Estate, and Capital Point Financial Group have agreed to again serve as title sponsors for this year's run of "A Christmas Carol" at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre.

David Schwabe of The Schwabe Group and Dave Hogaboom and Brendan Krahl of Capital Point are all longtime Arlington Heights residents with deep ties to the community. They frequently sponsor events and activities in the community, including The Sounds of Summer concert series, the Arlington Heights Special Events Commission Autumn Harvest, Hearts of Gold celebration, and Tree Lighting.

"'A Christmas Carol' is such a wonderful holiday tradition, and we are fortunate to have an institution like Metropolis right here in our community," said Schwabe. "We are pleased to help make the production possible through our sponsorship."

Hogaboom welcomed the opportunity to make the sponsorship a regular event.

"Brendan and I want to be a part of the community and particularly with traditions that are important to families," he said. "We are very proud to be associated with Metropolis and help families enjoy the holidays in this special way."

"We're deeply grateful for the support from these two recognized Arlington Heights businesses," said Metropolis Artistic Director Brendan Ragan, who is directing this production. "These kinds of sponsorships are the key ingredients that allow us to produce this important work on a professional scale for our community."

"A Christmas Carol" will run Nov. 25 through Dec. 24, at Metropolis and is annually one of the most well-attended shows in the season.
