New Crystal Lake development offers rental townhouses, apartments
Construction has been completed and leasing has begun for phase one of Enclave Crystal Lake, which will offer 51 rental townhouses and 48 apartments.
The new residential community is being developed by Harlem Irving Companies. Move-ins for the community's townhouses are expected in early November. The four-story, 48-unit apartment building is under construction with leasing and occupancy scheduled to begin in spring.
RMK Management Corp., one of the Midwest's largest market-rate apartment management firms, is now the property manager for Enclave Crystal Lake.
"As property manager for a number of luxury rental communities throughout the Chicago area and the Midwest, we've seen an increased demand in recent years for new properties to offer a variety of product types, so Enclave Crystal Lake is definitely on point," said Anthony Rossi Sr., chairman of RMK Management Corp. "With a larger percentage of the population renting due to higher interest rates and low housing inventory, it makes sense for new communities like this to want to appeal to a variety of renters - many of which are looking for larger rentals as an alternative to a single-family home."
Enclave Crystal Lake's nine townhouse clusters will comprise five to six three-story townhouse groupings featuring two- and three-bedroom units. Townhomes include open-concept kitchen and family rooms, 2½ baths and attached two-car garages.
Apartments will include studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans with one to two baths. The four-story building will feature a host of amenities including an indoor resident lounge, outdoor seating area, bike path and dog run, as well as 64 exterior parking spaces. Residents of both the townhouses and apartments can utilize the community's on-site amenity spaces.
All residences at Enclave Crystal Lake feature high-end finishes and selections, including vinyl or plank flooring in main living areas, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and designer two-toned kitchen cabinets.
The Crystal Lake Metra station, which connects the Union Pacific Northwest Line to Ogilvie Transportation Center near Chicago's Loop, is a 6-minute walk from the development, and Crystal Lake's historic downtown district, home to a variety of locally owned shops, restaurants and entertainment venues, is 5 minutes away.
