The Chicago Bears have launched the 35th annual Coat Drive in collaboration with Jewel-Osco, The Salvation Army and Shur-Way Movers. The announcement was made during a recent Bears press conference led by Bears head equipment manager Tony Medlin and Bears wide receiver DJ Moore. Bears fans can donate new or gently used coats at any of the 188 designated Jewel-Osco locations across the Chicago area.
Additionally, fans can also make coat donations at Bears Fit, 155 E. Townline Road, Vernon Hills, and during the Bears' game against the Carolina Panthers on Nov. 9, at Soldier Field. Donation boxes will be available at various locations, including the Ticketmaster Plaza located on the south side of Soldier Field, the Hospitality Entrance near Gate 14 and the Club Entrance near Gate 6.
The goal is to collect more than 25,000 gently used/new coats for people in need for this upcoming winter. The coat drive runs through Feb. 12, 2024.
Over the past 34 years, Chicago Bears fans have made a significant impact by donating hundreds of thousands of coats, keeping thousands of people in need, warm. The Chicago Bears deeply value the ongoing generosity of their fans and maintain their strong partnerships with Jewel-Osco, The Salvation Army and Shur-Way Movers to ensure that every person has access to the necessary resources for the winter season.
