Bensenville's free, family-friendly Monster Mash returns Oct. 28

The Bensenville Park District invites area residents to do the mash - the Monster Mash, that is - from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Deer Grove Leisure Center, 1000 W. Wood Street, Bensenville.

Those attending Bensenville's Monster Mash will get in the Halloween spirit early by taking a trip through the DGLC's Halloween-themed activity walk, ending in the gym, where kids of all ages will be able to enjoy many fun activities. The event is free, and advance registration is not necessary.

Children and families can come dressed in costumes, and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. Winners will be announced online on Halloween, Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Attendees of the family-friendly Monster Mash, sponsored by Grand Subaru of Bensenville, also will enjoy the carnival games, inflatable bounce houses, live critters and, of course, free candy while supplies last. Grand Subaru will be raffling off free prize packages to attendees, with winners announced at the end of the event.

Information about this and other park district fall programs and activities can be found on BvilleParks.org.
