Wheaton North High School presents 'Don't Drink the Water' Oct. 12-14
Wheaton North High School Performing Arts is putting on the Woody Allen political comedy "Don't Drink the Water" on Oct. 12-14.
Jump back to 1966 with this intriguing story that takes place inside an American embassy behind the Iron Curtain.
Walter, an American tourist, played by Jordan Wilhelm, accompanied by his wife Marion, played by Ava Biagini, and daughter Susan, played by Grace Pickut, rush into the embassy on a high-speed escape from the police.
The Communist police suspect the Americans of spying and taking pictures in a top secret area.
With the help of an ambassador's son Magee, played by Max Stewart, the family must navigate riots and accidental love to circumvent their arrest.
Check out this action-packed comedy in Wheaton North's Taylor Auditorium, 701 W. Thomas Road in Wheaton.
Show times for the fall play will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, and 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 13-14.
Tickets are $10, $7 for those 65 or older, or $5 for non-Wheaton North students. A service fee will be added to this transaction.
