Farmers Market at Friendship Village

Residents of Friendship Village enjoyed a Farmers Market on its 60-acre campus last week. The senior living community invited vendors - some repeat favorites, and other new soon-to-be favorites to offer their flowers, foods and unique wares. The residents visited and bought items from Midwest Produce, Birdflower Farm, Sweet Reserve Bakery, D's Treats, Friendship Village crafters, and more.

"Everyone loves Farmers Markets, the fresh produce, delicious baked goods, crafts, clothes and more. It's even better when it's set up here for the residents to enjoy," said Amy Herring, lifestyles activities manager. "Farmers Markets are a great way to support our local businesses and artisans."
