Hanover Township Mental Health Board Approves Emergency Funding at July Meeting
The Hanover Township Mental Health Board approved $20,000 in Emergency Funding at their July 11 meeting to Ecker Center for Behavioral Health to make repairs to their parking lot entrance at their Grandstand Office in Elgin. This is the main entrance for the center's short-term residents and provides access to the facility for transportation services and first responders.
Ecker Center serves approximately 1,000 Township residents annually through outpatient therapy services and their substance abuse treatment and crisis stabilization programs.
Mental Health Board Funded Agencies can request up to $25,000 in Emergency Funding each Fiscal Year.
The next meeting of the Mental Health Board will take place on August 22 at 6:30PM at the Senior Center (240 S. IL Route 59, Bartlett).
Hanover Township serves over 105,000 residents in portions of the Cook County communities of Streamwood, Elgin, Bartlett, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg.
