Bucket Number Six, Palatine's hometown band celebrates 20 years rocking Palatine's Hometown Fest
Get ready to rock with one of Chicago's favorite cover bands, Bucket Number Six, as they take the stage at the Palatine Jaycees Hometown Fest at 10 p.m. on July 3, in Community Park, 250 E. Wood St., in Palatine
This is the band's 20th year headlining this venerable Fourth of July festival, and they are set to deliver a blazing performance, immediately following the fireworks at 9 p.m.
Comprised of local musicians Greg Carlisle, John Cygnar, Brian Kita, Ben Schlaiss and Chris Wade, Bucket Number Six (BN6) has garnered a loyal following throughout the North and Northwest suburbs, with an eclectic musical style combines elements of rock, pop, and alternative genres, resulting in an eclectic musical experience.
At Hometown Fest, festivalgoers can expect a diverse setlist featuring party rock hits from the 70s to today, performed with the band's signature flair - from the powerful anthems of Queen to the iconic sounds of The Killers, Aerosmith, Billy Idol, Neil Diamond and much more.
Proceeds (including beer sales) from Hometown Fest benefit the Palatine Jaycees by funding community projects, community grants, high school scholarships, and much more. BN6 has been proud to be a part of this important festival for two decades.
