Zeigler Auto Group's No. 78 Camaro gears up for NASCAR's Grant Park 220

CHICAGO (June 23) - Zeigler Auto Group is gearing up for this weekend's historic Chicago Street Race with Live Fast Motorsports and NASCAR driver Josh Bilicki behind the wheel of its Zeigler.com No. 78 Chevy Camaro.

The inaugural Grant Park 220 will take place on Sunday, July 2 and offer a unique experience with 100 laps on a street circuit, a celebrity-packed concert, and more.

"My excitement level for the Chicago Street Race is off the charts. Not only is this the first ever street race for the NASCAR Cup Series, but this race is also in Zeigler Auto Group's backyard, so they have a large list of team members attending the race. It will be important for us to have a strong and competitive run," said Bilicki of the upcoming race where the auto group will host 39 guests at its suite which will include employees, business partners, and family.

Along with this weekend's events, Zeigler will also host a meet-and-greet tour on Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29, for Bilicki at five of its 21 Chicago-area dealerships. With 35 total dealerships throughout the midwest, Zeigler Auto Group has served 15 million customers since opening its doors in 1975.

Bilicki will be at each dealership signing hero cards and other giveaways, with plenty of photo-ops available for the media and public.

The meet-and-greet tour will kick off in Bilicki's home state of Wisconsin, with a stop at Zeigler Honda of Racine on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. CST, before continuing up towards Zeigler Lincoln Buick at 1 p.m. CST, where a replica of the No.78 Camaro is currently parked.

Bilicki will end his day at Zeigler CDJR Schaumburg at 4 p.m. CST. Thursday will kick off at INFINITI of Orland Park at 10 a.m. CST, then continue on at Zeigler CDJR of Downers Grove at 1 p.m.CST, before ending the day at Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates at 4 p.m. CST.

Zeigler Auto Group announced its partnership with Live Fast Motorsports last fall with a multi-race agreement culminating in several major races, with Chicago being one of the top.

"Introducing our sport to a new audience has shown success in the past at races such as the L.A. Coliseum, and I applaud NASCAR and their team members for making this happen. The track itself is going to be extremely challenging, with tight turns and a very bumpy surface, but all of us drivers and teams are in the same boat, so it's going to be about who figures out the best setup for their car and who feels the most comfortable on track quickly," said Bilicki.

The Chicago Street Race will be broadcast on Sunday, July 2, at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
