Celebrate the outdoors during Kids to Parks Day in Hoffman Estates

Hoffman Estates Park District (HEParks) invites the community to attend a free family event Saturday, May 20, at Fabbrini Park (1704 Glen Lake Road, Hoffman Estates) from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM to support National Kids to Parks Day.

This national movement, organized by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and National Park Trust, encourages families and kids to connect with their local parks and public lands through exploration and activities. The event at Fabbrini Park is one of the thousands of events occurring nationwide.

This year's event includes stage shows, activities and food truck vendors. The stage entertainment begins at 11:00 AM with a Baton Exhibition, followed at noon with Sideswipe Martial Arts Team, once featured on America's Got Talent; at 1:00 PM, local children's entertainer Jeannie B and the Jelly Beans take the stage with the final show, a Bubble Show, beginning at 2:00 PM. Activities include inflatables, yard games, fishing demos and more. Food will be available for purchase at the event.

Partnering with the district to support this event is Raising Cane's of Schaumburg.
